12 months

We still can't believe how fast a year went by! Jackson now weighs 26 pounds and is in the 95th percentile for his height. He says "mama" and "dadda" all the time so we don't consider those his first words.... but a new one he has been saying when he sees someone or when someone walks into a room is "HI". He says it in a very high pitched voice and has a big smile on his face when he says it. Jackson managed to go eleven months with no sickness other than allergies... but then he got hit hard with viruses. First he got the flu from mama and daddy but was only down for a short while. Then two weeks later, he got his very first cold and it really knocked him down hard. After a week of being sick, his cold virus turned into a double eye and double ear infection. After some medicine from the doc he was doing much better tho. He is still very active and prefers to run instead of walk anywhere. He recently figured out how to take the plastic outlet covers off so we're going to have to find an alternative for those. He plays peek a boo with us all the time and loves to be chased. He's doing really well eating more solid foods but is very picky with what he'll actually eat. One year down and it just keeps getting better.
